Having got ourselves in as much order as we could, we broke for lunch at (where else?) Green Point in San Blas. A shocking bowl of beetroot soup was only part of the constantly rotating daily menu, which was followed (for me) with spring rolls atop pumpkin purée, and (for K) a vegan pizza. We always fall into the same (tempting) trap of the four-course 'menú' and left, as always, completely stuffed.

We reasoned that it was acceptable preparation for the following days' exertions and privations. We burned a small amount of the calories off walking back up the hill to home.
